LabOrbital
In recent years, LabOrbital GmbH has developed a fuel class that can be handled safely and still offers higher performance than hydrazine fuels or their now available substitutes. The new fuel class also avoids problems such as the difficulty of ignition or the limited service life of the substitute fuels. In return, however, key engine components must also be newly developed, tested and qualified. By introducing the new propellant class, we hope to be able to offer a cost-effective and universal propulsion solution for spacecraft of all sizes, which will open up new prospects and business models for the small satellite market in particular but also for so-called microlaunchers . Furthermore, use for power generation or in rescue systems in special earthbound applications (cf. submarines, drones) would also be conceivable.
